Gathering is an essential part of being human. When we sing, share, play, dance, hold rituals, eat together… We move beyond dogma. Sunday Gathering is about the simple yet radical choice to gently ease open our hearts and trust the voice of love to guide the way.
Many of us have become isolated in our spiritual journeys, atomised by our individual interests, unaware of the mycelial network that connects us and the abundance of resources available to help us flourish.
Sunday Gathering is about remembering the sacredness of life, our belonging to a wider web and that our soul-given gifts are designed to be lived and shared.
The Gathering takes place in Brussels once a month on a Sunday afternoon. Starting with a singing circle and a moment of contemplation, participants then choose between practices exploring different aspects of connection - to self, to other, and to life. We finish the afternoon together around the table.

at Lagrange Points, Rue de Laeken 155 (next to Metro Yser)
at Pavi’On - Parc du Cinquantenaire 15 (building in the park, near the mosque)
Please arrive between 13:45-14:15 so we can start together. The doors will close promptly at 14:15.
The circle and activities will last until 18:00, so please make sure you are able to be present until then.
Everyone is welcome to stay afterwards to share food until 19:00.
~ a meditation cushion or a pillow (there is nothing provided in the space!)
~ your water bottle
~ clothes you can move comfortably in
~ a yoga mat
~ a blanket, warm socks and/or sweater (optional, if you easily get cold)
~ food to share (optional, for potluck)
The event will be mainly in English, but some practices may be proposed in other languages.
Children are very welcome! There will be at least one children-friendly practice available.
The space is wheelchair-accessible, although for practical reasons please indicate it on the registration form.
The Gathering is experimenting with a gift model,
meaning that everyone is invited to contribute as they can.
(Inspired by Charles Eisenstein’s book, Sacred Economics)
Time, energy, experience, food, knowledge, wealth, skills, creativity, love…
There are infinite ways to give, and our intention is to tap into the joy and satisfaction
that is giving and sharing with others from the heart.
Our conviction is that sharing our gifts creates a virtuous cycle that benefits everyone.
There are costs associated with renting the space and money is needed in order to further develop the project.
We will ask participants during the afternoon to contribute consciously and according to their means.
However, money should not prevent anyone who wants to join, to be able to join.
Helping with the set-up / clean-up,
guiding an activity around connection,
cooking a group meal for the potluck,
covering the cost of the rental for an afternoon,
decorating the space,
…or anything else.
And if you don’t feel like you are able to contribute anything right now, you are still welcome.
Some moments in life are just for receiving.
Fill out the registration form and share your ideas!

My name is Ani and I have been gathering people together in various forms since 2019.
As a singer with a heart for devotional music, I have led numerous singing circles and am convinced of their incredible power to liberate, connect and elevate (artist name: Ani Rose). When guiding circles I share mantras from various spiritual traditions, as well as original songs, with a desire to connect with the essence underlying them all.
My own journey has brought me from a rigidly dogmatic Evangelical Protestant upbringing, to stumbling through an arid lifeless spiritual desert in my 20s, to awkwardly but authentically seeking my own way across several years and countries.
During this vulnerable process I rediscovered my love of devotional music, but through the lens of mantras and ícaros rather than worship songs. Music helped me heal the religious trauma I had been carrying and reconnected me to the love of gathering meaningfully in community.
Throughout the past 7 years, I have attended and facilitated numerous workshops on a range of topics, from authentic relating to embodiment. I felt the essence that was weaving these different spaces together, yet did not find one home to house them all. That’s when The Gathering was born. Now feels like the opportune time to gather together with others, exploring spiritual paths and practices that break free of dogma and remind us of the interconnectedness of all things.
